Works independently in Berlin. Having been educated in the areas of the performing arts, body therapy, social education, and management, she works at the intersection of the performing arts & martial arts – learning & education – individual & society.
She has worked within the education and cultural sectors as an instructor and teaching coach, as a coach for independent groups and artists, in project development and project management as well as on interdisciplinary projects. Kristin has taught at a variety of art academies within Germany and abroad since the year 2000. She has helped to develop and support curricula for academies and other artistic institutions in the areas of performing arts physiology, institutional and project management, teacher development, coaching and further education for academy instructors.
In 2002, she was a founding member of the Kurt Singer Institute for Music Physiology of the Berlin Academy of Music and Berlin University of the Arts as well as a member of its leadership from 2008 – 2010.
From 2006 – 2008, she was a lecturer and coach in the pilot and initial phase of the Inter-University Centre for Contemporary Dance Berlin. From 2008 – 2012, she was a guest professor and director of the department of music physiology.
